AFFILIATIONS:
The Keystone Region MG Club is an affiliated chapter of two national MG organizations. We have been a chapter of the
North American MGA Register since 1977, when the club was
founded as "MOWOG," the Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of
NAMGAR. The North American MGA Register is the national
organization for enthusiasts of the MGA, the MG Magnette,
and variants.
We became affiliated with the
North American MGB Register on Jan. 19, 1993, just three
years after NAMGBR was formed. The North American MGB
Register is the national organization for enthusiasts of
the MGB, the MG Midget, and the MG 1100 and 1300 sedans.
Keystone Region MG members are encouraged to join the
national groups, both of which host national and regional
meets (see our British Car Event Calendar) and publish
bimonthly magazines full of technical information plus
restoration and maintenance advice. All of our club
meetings, rallies and events are insured through a blanket
policy provided by the national organizations, making this
a major benefit of affiliation.
We also are a participating
club with the British Marque Car Club News, a monthly
newspaper featuring news from British car clubs all over
the country. Members of the Keystone Region MG Club who
have paid their annual dues by the end of March receive a
free subscription to the British Marque Car Club News.
Members who join the club after March may subscribe to the
British Marque Car Club News at a reduced club rate.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
Here are links to other MG and British car club groups. The local/regional links are to neighboring clubs which host annual shows that Keystone Region MG Club members attend every year. The national organization links include the other three MG registers that, with the MGA and MGB registers, make up the North American MG Council. We've also included links to the two oldest MG clubs in the "homeland" of Great Britain.

ONLINE FORUMS:
There are many good MG-related sites on the Internet. Here are three of the best. All three feature forums where you can post questions and answers and keep up with what other MG enthusiasts are doing across the country and around the world. You can "lurk" on these sites, but you'll get the most out of them if you register. Registration is free.BRITISH CAR TRADES:
The British Motor Trade Association is the umbrella organization for businesses and organizations serving British car enthusiasts, and is itself a good source to find reliable vendors and service shops in the United States and Canada. The British Motor Industry
Heritage Trust was formed in the United Kingdom in 1983 to
safeguard a collection of historic vehicles from the
companies which formed British Leyland. The BMIHT has a
vast collection of archive material, and can provide most
British car owners with a Heritage Certificate, which is a
certified copy of the original numbers and colour scheme,
dates of build, and where available, the details of factory
fitted equipment on their cars.
The Keystone Region MG Club
recommends the following British car resources. These
companies support our British Motorcar Gathering in
Hellertown with door-prize donations, and are otherwise
known as reliable sources of parts, supplies, accessories
and information.
