Members of the Keystone Region MG Club put on a spectacular car show on Sunday, June 10. We had 206 registered British cars of all makes and models. The morning clouds kept a few pre-registered cars away, but those no-shows missed a great day of fun with fellow British car lovers and their cars. The sun came out, as it always seems to do at our show, and it was a fantastic day.

We continue to get positive comments about our show and its location. Hellertown Borough takes care to get the park ready for our show. Participants appreciate varying shaded and open areas. Van the Music Man continues to get great reviews for his relaxed music selections and smooth announcing style. The food has always been good and reasonably priced. The show has great awards, great looking regalia for sale, many, many valuable door prizes and activities for the children. It is no wonder that many of our show participants keep coming back year after year.

We dont want to just rest on our laurels. This show continues to improve. A new registration procedure, with two registration tents for 2007, allowed cars to get onto the show field faster. The addition of red staff vests helped drivers identify members parking cars and members working the registration areas. New descriptive class signs helped participants on the show field and aided in the voting process.

I counted more than 34 names of volunteers who were involved in the show this year. This club could not produce a British automobile show of this quality without the dedication and hard work of its members. Another great part of this show is that everyone is so pleasant to work with. We are fortunate to have a wonderful group of people in our club.

The list of winners and photos from this year's show are posted below.
