Britfest '05

Three club members won trophies at the Britfest ’05 show, but everyone who attended came away a winner because it was such a delightful day.
Ryan Roberts won third and Ed Haas won fourth in the rubber-bumper MGB class. Ryan’s car is a 1979 LE (black, of course), and Ed’s is a blue 1975.
Terry and Pat Allen won fourth in the chrome-bumper class with their glacier white 1974 MGB.

Also showing cars or just attending were Dick Horn, Charles and Kim de Bourbon, Wendy Hildebrand, Bob Pilat, Ron Roberts, and Marty and Marybeth Chamberlain. Most of those attending drove up together in a caravan.

Club members also won in the door prize drawing. Kim won a windshield sunshade, but gave it to Charles because it was too big for an MGB, and Ryan won an umbrella. Terry was the big winner. Not only did he get 5 qts. of Castrol 10w30, he got two passes to Carlisle when the guy who really won them gave them away.
