2006 Keystone Region MG Club Fall Foliage Outing
to Blue Mountain Vineyards, New Tripoli, Pa.
Members of the Keystone Region MG Club took a drive through the back roads of upper Lehigh County, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006. Our destination was the Blue Mountain Vineyards in New Tripoli.
We had a great turnout, with seven MGBs, one TD, and one modern MINI in the pack. Rallymasters were Bill and Gini Miers, who led the way in their 1974 Citron MGB.
The weather was one of those wonderful days we wish for every fall: Bright, crisp, and warm enough to drive with the top down to enjoy the colors of the autumn leaves.
We only got off course once or twice, and arrived at the Blue Mountain Vineyards promptly at 2 p.m., where we were met by Ed and Angie Haas in their 1956 MGA. We pulled tables together in the glass-enclosed section of the winery's deck, and enjoyed our picnic lunches and a couple bottles of Blue Mountain wine.
The Keystone Region MG Club, Inc., is incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers to promote interest in and help foster the preservation of MGs and other British motor cars.
