2006 Keystone Region MG Club Fall Foliage Outing
The weather was one of those wonderful days we wish for every fall: Bright, crisp, and warm enough to drive with the top down to enjoy the colors of the autumn leaves. We met up at the Schnecksville Diner on Route 309, and took a leisurely, circuitous route over two covered bridges around some great country roads, over rolling farmlands and through wooded areas. We only got off course once or twice, and arrived at the Blue Mountain Vineyards promptly at 2 p.m., where we were met by Ed and Angie Haas in their 1956 MGA. We pulled tables together in the glass-enclosed section of the winery's deck, and enjoyed our picnic lunches and a couple bottles of Blue Mountain wine. | |
